Are you interested in exploring whether a devotional breathing practice can help you:
deepen your relationship with God?
feel the serene, tranquil joy of God communion?
be more loving with friends and family?
accept God’s comforting embrace during life’s turmoils?
enjoy the simple contentment of being a child of God?
Many people who have read the book have mentioned how it has helped them immensely and years later they still benefit from the practice. However, many other people have mentioned it doesn’t work for them or they “cannot sustain it and have trouble entering into it because of an overstimulated nervous system”.
Part of the beauty of this simple devotional breathing practice is its adaptability to fit inside someone’s current life, current prayer routine, current spiritual practices, current state of restlessness. It can though take several weeks of exploring and “trial and refinement” to find what individually works for someone; so that it becomes a normal, life enhancing part of one’s day, rather than, like many New Year’s resolutions, a perceived burden to discard.
Online workshops and one-on-one consulting are available to guide people in integrating devotional breathing into their own lives.
Both group workshops and individual consulting are structured with 5 weekly sessions. Individual session are typically 30 to 45 minutes. Workshops, depending on the number of attendees are about 90 to 120 minutes each. Different exercises or routines are discussed each week and how to individually adapt them for someone to try over the coming week. Then evaluated, refined, and individualized more for the next week. With 5 weekly sessions, participants will have 4 weeks of practice with follow-ups.
One month of exploring and trying out devotional breathing is a small investment compared to gaining a deeper relationship with God, to gaining access to God’s serene, tranquil, joyful communion
